Forty years after its birth, SPORT has established itself as the leading media outlet for Barcelona fans, thanks to its fidelity to its founding spirit (being Barça without complexes, always with respect and a journalistic vocation) and also to its constant ability to innovate. SPORT was, since 1979, the first newspaper in Spain to be proclaimed a priority media outlet for a club, FC Barcelona, of which it has been reporting ever since on all its vicissitudes, internal and external, public and private. Barça cannot be understood without SPORT, nor can SPORT without Barça, a club that this newspaper has accompanied, with passion, respect and also with a critical sense, in its profound evolution and transformation in recent decades. SPORT is a leading sports newspaper in many other fields, such as Spanish and international football, and also in its sports section, in which it has developed high-quality journalism in sports such as tennis, basketball, motor, paddle tennis, athletics, cycling , etc, as well as on-the-spot monitoring of all the major world sporting events.
