Forest plantations, in addition to the direct benefits, play an important role in relieving pressure on remaining natural forests and also contributing to the recovery of degraded areas. The increase in planted area and the scarcity of efficient phytosanitary barriers between currencies facilitate the proliferation of insects and diseases due to the availability of food. Because of this, this Manual of Pest and Field Diseases was developed to assist in the identification of the main harmful agents to the pine plantations with Pinus and Eucalyptus. This identification is important in the Integrated Pest and Disease Management Program, as it enables continuous improvement in the plant protection system and greater agility for decision making. If you see the symptoms or the presence of these pests and / or diseases, immediately notify the Plant Protection area.
