Pratikraman Aavashyak – To criticize the 99 trespass of the laymen, to reminisce great men and to worship Panch Parmeshti. 5. Kayaotsarg Aavashyak – To abandon the affection towards body. 6. Pratyakhyan Aavashyak – To abandon food, water etc. for some time. As the name says Aavashyak sutra, it is necessary to be performed by every laymen and laywomen.
