The Convert application is published by the Dijon Academy. Type: Exerciser / Toolbox Cycles involved: Cycles 3 and 4 Knowledge: Quantities and Measurements> Calculate with measurable quantities. Associated skills: Quantities and Measures> perform unit conversions. Quantities and Measurements> correspondence between units of volume and capacity. Description: Convert is an application for cycles 3 and 4: It allows to practice conversions of lengths, masses, areas, volumes and capacities. I. CONVERSIONS OF LENGTHS: Methods : - Convert using the table - Convert using equivalences Tools: - Length converter Exercises: - The good unity - Convert lengths (with table) - Convert lengths (without Table) - Associate equal lengths - Compare lengths II. CONVERSIONS OF MASSES Methods : - Convert using the table - Convert using equivalences Tools: - Mass converter Exercises: - The good unity - Convert masses (with Table) - Convert masses (without Table) - Associate equal masses - Compare masses III. CONVERSIONS OF AREAS Methods : - Convert using the table - Convert using equivalences Tools: - Area converter Exercises: - Convert areas (with Table) - Convert areas (without Table) - Compare areas - Land and agricultural units IV. CONVERSIONS OF VOLUMES Methods : - Convert using the table - Convert using equivalences Tools: - Volume converter Exercises: - Convert volumes (with Tableau) - Convert volumes (without Table) - Compare volumes - Volumes and capacities IV. CAPACITY CONVERSIONS: Methods : - Convert using the table - Convert using equivalences Tools: - Capacity converter Exercises: - The good unity - Convert Capabilities (with Tableau) - Convert capacities (without Table) - Associate equal capacities - Compare capabilities
