Welcome to St. Joseph’s Convent School, Rourkela – a premier educational institution founded on January 12, 1966, and conducted by the Religious of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross. Established in 1833 by Mother Marie Therese Haze in Liege, Belgium, the congregation has been committed to global educational excellence and fostering God’s love through service. Our mission is to empower young girls by providing quality education that nurtures their intellectual, emotional, and moral growth. Rooted in the vision of Mother Marie Therese, we strive to address the evolving educational needs of society while upholding the dignity and empowerment of womanhood. At St. Joseph’s Convent School, we foster a collaborative and responsible learning community, involving teachers, staff, and students in a spirit of love and freedom. Join us in shaping the leaders of tomorrow, inspired by values, excellence, and compassion.
